Stockholm Midsummer Design Tour
“A design-immersive journey through the heart of Scandinavian creativity.”
We created the Scandi Escape Design Tour with one purpose:

What Makes This Experience Unique
The Scandi Escape Design Tour was created for one reason: to show you what design feels like when you experience it from the inside.
Not from a textbook.
Not from Pinterest.
Not from the outside looking in.
But through real conversations with designers, hands-on workshops, Swedish culture, and inspiration drawn from everyday life in Stockholm — the architecture, the light, the details, the way design shapes how people live.
This escape lets you step into creative studios, meet innovators, celebrate Midsummer in the archipelago, and reconnect with your curiosity in a place where design is part of the DNA.
You won’t just come home inspired.
You’ll come home with new ideas, new perspectives, new connections, and a refreshed way of seeing the world
What are the objectives and benefits?
The Scandi Escape Design Tour is an immersive educational program created to give students meaningful, industry-connected learning experiences inside Sweden’s world-renowned design culture.
Rather than observing from a distance, participants step directly into studios, workshops, creative agencies, cultural institutions, and innovation hubs — gaining practical insight into Scandinavian design, sustainability practices, and contemporary creative industry processes.
Students return with strengthened portfolios, enriched creative perspectives, and a deeper understanding of global design ecosystems — contributing to both personal growth and institutional internationalisation goals.
This is more than travel; it’s an intentional learning experience that integrates culture, creativity, and professional development.
Led by Stockholm-born designers with deep local networks, the tour supports Work Integrated Learning (WIL) by enhancing:
• Professional capability
• Opportunity for WIL & portfolio development
• Gain global experience that boosts employability
• Stand out in job applications
• Professional development& real industry exposure
• Industry engagement
